Teams

U13s training runs from 10.00am to 12.00pm, every Sunday from September through to the end of April. Usually, you will find us on the “VETs XV" pitch.

Currently, we have around 40 players in our age group and would welcome any children who are in Year 8 (school) to come along. Many of our coaching staff are parents of playing children and we aim to have fun as well as help our players develop their playing skills.

Our training priorities for this season will be:

- Maintaining an inclusive approach for all players and parents, and promoting an environment of enjoyable, fun rugby
- Ensuring that the players have a high standard of fitness
- Teaching all players how to play the 13-a-side game safely and effectively, particularly in the contact
- Development of all players

We have arranged a number of 'friendly' competitive fixtures this season in order to enable the players to execute their skill-set under the pressure of a game environment, the priority, however is for all players to have fun.
