Almost unnoticed...

A&C managed to score three fantastic tries.
The first try saw Zac take the ball on the 10 yd line and ducking and diving to set up a ruck on the right hand side of the pitch around the 25 yd line. Adam, James and Harry rucked over well to get quick ball to Eddie and Matthew then set the back line off at speed. Having been through the hands of most of the backs, Jack ran a tremendous first try in on the far side of the pitch.

The second try was more of a forward effort with Jack taking the initiative in open play to run through the opposition to score in the left hand corner.

In the second half, A&C managed to score a third and final try which saw the backs running half the length of the field to create a runaway try from nothing…Isaac, Harry and George combining majestically before scoring in the left hand corner. Harry converted the try.

Meanwhile at the other end, almost unnoticed, Old Albanians managed to score no less than 11 tries, converting 7, to amass a total of 72 points. The stats showed that A&C kept 45% of possession having won 50% of the scrums and making 60% of the tackle count. Bah Humbug.
