Seven try win sends Chiltern up to fourth

After a disappointing loss from the week before against Bletchley, Chiltern were at home and looking to get back on track in BBO2.

Chiltern started well and their set piece which was strong all game allowed the platform for them to play wide and expose the visitors.

The first was from Josh Davies who sliced through the defence to score within the first five minutes. Converted by Dan Kinsey.

The second was again from a solid lineout and the ball was passed wide to Mark Day who did very well to beat three men on the outside and pass off to Dan Kinsey. The conversion out wide was missed making the score 12-0.

Three further tries were scored securing the bonus point before half time.
A well deserved try for Mark Day after some great passing in the backs from Jimmy Dye & Josh Davies and then a double for captain Luke Donnebaum who crashed over on both occasions. Two conversions from Dan Kinsey made the half time score 31-0.

Chiltern secured the game with two further tries after half time.
Jamie Fenton finished well in the corner after good handling again from the backline to score Chiltern’s sixth try of the day. Dan Kinsey converted.

Jack Freeman back from injury scored Chiltern’s final try of the day after a good offload from Harvey Gould. Dan Kinsey converted to make the final score 45-0.

Four wins for the seniors on Saturday and a great weekend for the club.
Next week Chiltern have a friendly match against Old Merchant Taylors and the week after they travel away to second placed High Wycombe.
