All of the games were tough and the scores did not always reflect how tight some of these games were. The standard of competition was excellent which made the overall result even better.

First up was Rosslyn Park who started the game flying - making our boys look like they were still in bed and soon Park were 14-0 up. The second half was better with the tackles being made and the boys playing together well rather than individually but not enough ball was secured to allow our backs to use their running skills.

We then scored an excellent win over Blackheath with 2 tries to their one, and finally running out winners against Old Elthamians which meant that A&C went through as group runners up to face Cobham in the Cup semi-final

Once again Cobham were a powerful unit who simply outgunned A&C in the first half 21-0 where we seemed to lose our concentration. The second half was a different proposition and the boys did well to equal their scoring in the second half. The result meant we went through to the Bowl Final

The bowl final was against Oxford Harlequins - who we'd faced a few weeks ago at Landrover cup - and it seemed from the off that the boys wanted to finish on a high and took the game by the scruff of the neck and scored two tries to nil in the first half. The second half was closer but good team work meant we went from one side of the pitch with Dan showing great finishing to go over in the corner.

Overall, it was a great day with some fantastic games played in a great spirit against some classy opposition. There were some great performances so well done all concerned.
