55:0 (9 tries and 5 conversions)
Amersham & Chiltern U14s had circa 4-5 of the more experienced boys on at anyone time and that did help enormously in the rucks and in heavy tackling.
Most of the tries were solo efforts, especially as Chess tired, but that should not take away from a good performance from the squad.
Saxons need to get more aggressive rucking from core Saxon boys and work on using the core green/Amber/ red moves in a game situation. But a good day overall.
Best bit for me, aside from not conceding any points, was James’s catch and length of the pitch running return from the very first chess kickoff- I think it set the tone for the day!
