Second half performance seals bonus point

Chiltern 3s were clearly rusty on Saturday but managed to score 7 tries to complete a much needed bonus point win having lost heavily the week before.

An early try for Anthony Page was scored under the posts after a well spotted mis match on the wing and he rounded his opposite man well. Conversion successful by Josh Davies

A mix up in defence allowed the Grove centre to pickup a loose ball and fend off some very weak tackling to score out wide. Conversion was missed.

Grove added a penalty to go ahead 7-8.

Paul Sitzberger put in a clever chip over the Grove defence and seizing the opportunity was Luke Mill who chased through to pickup the chip and score out wide. Conversion was missed

HT 12-8

Chasing the bonus point Chiltern knew they had to step up a gear and they delivered with an early second half try from Josh Davies who sliced through the Grove defence well and he converted his own kick.

The four try target was completed when Johnny Rice finished well to make the score 24-8. Conversion was missed

Three further tries were added by Luke Mill, Jack Davidson and Tom Manton who finished off a well worked team try.

FT 39-8

The final match before the Christmas break is against Witney at home.
