Chiltern no match for Windsor

Windsor's home form was impressive having won 4 out of 5 leading into this game with some big wins on the board and so it continued against Chiltern.

It was two weeks since Chiltern's last league match they were clearly rusty. There were some good early breaks by the away team but support was lacking and the chances came to nothing.

There was an early yellow card for the Windsor centre for an alleged spear tackle but even with the one man advantage Chiltern couldn't capitalise.

A penalty for Windsor followed shortly after to make it 3-0.

The pressure began to build with the Windsor fly half pulling the strings and they were rewarded with two first half tries; the first was down the blind side and was well finished by the Windsor winger. The try was well converted from the touchline.

Chiltern were then down to 14 men after a high tackle from Johnny Rice which led to a penalty, converted to make the score 13-0.

The second try was scored by Windsor's impressive inside centre who rounded three players to score. Again well converted making the half time score 20-0.

Chiltern tried to find their way into the game but simply could not get any continuity in attack.

Three further tries for the home side; one try each for Windsor's two standout players, their fly half and inside centre.
In the final play of the game Chiltern tried to play out of their 22 only to get turned over and a good team try resulted in a converted try to seal the match.

Credit to Windsor who deserved their win.
