After last weeks frustrating performance Chiltern replied with a 12 try win against second in the league.
It’s worth noting Reading Abbey arrived with 15 players and were missing some key players from the previous week’s 112-0 win over Wallingford but Chiltern played what was in front of them and deserved their win.
Five tries were scored in the first half; four coming from Sam Woods on his second game for the club and the other from vice captain Josh Davies who also converted four out of five.
HT 33-0
The second half saw a further seven tries scored by Michael Brothers, James Ashton, Jamie Fenton, Johnny Rice, two further tries for Sam Woods and a second for Josh Davies.
11 out of 12 conversions were successful with ten for Josh Davies and one for James Ashton.
A real team performance and credit to everyone involved.
FT 82-7
Next week Chiltern travel away to mid placed Bicester.
