First home win of the season

Chiltern’s first home match of the season resulted in a much needed win.
The home team started well after some good passing out wide, James Ashton broke through the defence and passed off well for Sam Litchfield to race home down the right wing. Dan Kinsey adding the conversion.
After spending a sustained period in the OH half; the pressure paid off and Josh Davies intercepted well to finish under the posts. Dan Kinsey again converted to make the score 14-0.
Just before half time OH did well to work their way down into Chiltern’s 22 and a scrum five metres out turned into a penalty try for the away team. Conversion successful making the half time score 14-7.
HT 14-7

Straight after half time James Ashton scored for Chiltern to extend their lead and Dan Kinsey again added the conversion making the score 21-7.

A brilliant break from the OH centre who weaved through various tackles scored under the posts. The kick was missed keeping Chiltern two scores ahead.

The final try was finished well by Gus Pollard after some great handling throughout the teaml. Dan Kinsey who was brilliant with the boot all day converted again making the final score 28-12.
