Chiltern travelled to Oxford to play Gosford All Blacks and came away with a good victory.
They scored 4 tries in the first half and secured the bonus point target by half time; the scorers were Matt Neill after a quick tap penalty from Ally Davidson, Neil Foster cutting a brilliant line to score under the posts, Luke Antos scoring from a rolling maul and Blayne Underwood scoring on the blind side after good work from Neil Foster again.
Gosford managed one score after a solid scrum and although it looked as though the ball was 'held up' the referee gave the try. The conversion was missed.
James Ashton who kicked very well all day converted three out of the four tries.
HT 26-5
In the second half Gosford came out fired up and tried to get back into the game but Chiltern added two further tries with no reply.
Both try scorers were able to add to their first half tries. Neil Foster again turning provider after a nice chip over the Gosford backline for Blayne to score the try of the match, collecting the ball and stepping past the last man to score under the posts.
James Ashton converted.
The final try of the game was scored by Matt Neil to wrap up the victory.
