The 3XV are hot at the moment but there was still the usual trepidation when playing Chesham. The first lineout and scrum were a mess but after that everything quickly fell in to place. 11 tries from all over the pitch followed in the next 78 minutes. Over half the Chesham lineout was poached by Chiltern and Chesham seemed to be a bit older, and a bit more unfit than last time and it turned into a bit of a mis-match. However, a bit of bickering and a few hand bags thrown meant interest was maintained by both sides to the end. It is sometimes said that the one sided games aren't as much fun as the close wins, but this was pretty good fun. The home and away league fixtures are now completed against Chesham and the combined score is an almost perfect 100-3. And there is a whole story about those 3 points. The 3XV remain top of the table having scored 79 tries in 11 games. Grammarians keep winning as well which will set up a possible title decider in late January.
