2022/2023 Tag Rugby every Sunday morning at 9:30 at the club on Weedon Lane, HP6 5QU.

Who: The "Dyno-Mites" caters for Reception and Year 1 children. We are an inclusive team that puts "Kids First" in everything we do. All are welcome!

When: Sundays at 9.30am - 10:30am at the club on Weedon Lane, Amersham. Just ask for the U5/U6s and get involved! A parent / guardian must remain pitch-side throughout practice. After playing the clubhouse is open for refreshments, parents can have a chat while the kids can grab a snack and play with their new friends.

What do we do: The "Dyno-Mites" team is focussed on having fun, making new friends, and building a base of general movement and athletic skills with mini-rugby as a conduit. Through careful application of appropriate programming we aim to promote optimal youth athletic development, play, and physical literacy to ensure longevity in sport for all the players. All sessions are designed to be active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe and we follow RFU best practice and guidelines for the age group. The movement fundamentals and skills we teach the Dyno-Mites team are widely applicable to any sport or pursuit - not just rugby. Note - At this age group we play tag rugby and do not go into contact.

What to wear: Comfortable sports clothing, please dress for the weather. Boots (if you have them) otherwise trainers are fine (just remember it does get muddy in winter and studs will be helpful). For cold weather please bring some layers and gloves are recommended though winter.

Membership: We offer two taster sessions. Please register for these on the day before the session starts. After this we request that you join the club. Please see the membership section of this site for pricing and further detail.
