The coaches were really impressed with the excellent turnout on Sunday morning, recognising that a lot of families were sacrificing the enjoyment of our first session in favour of a mundane family holiday in the sun or similar. How surprised we were, then, to discover the sun in the skies and a strange green covering on the pitch. I'm sure it won't last for long! We were also glad to welcome some new faces, all of whom contributed greatly to our first session, despite their inexperience. It was a pleasant coincidence that all four of these, Tommy, Leo, Rushabh & Daniel, were the players of the week for our first session of the 2019/2020 season.
