This is the second year The Rob Maxey Cup has been awarded to our Volunteer of the Year in memory of a man whose dedication to ACRFC left a lasting mark.

Rob, along with Juliet, has been a tireless supporter of the club for many years, and Juliet continues to honour his legacy with unwavering support. This support has also been continued by Robs cousins Cathryn, Bruce and Alison and we are deeply grateful for their generosity and for gifting this very special award to the club.

And this year, there could be no more deserving recipient than Rob Elms.

Rob is the benchmark for volunteering in our club.

From years of coaching and leading the Minis as Chair, to stepping up as Junior Chair with added responsibilities across the club — including the all-important (and often thankless!) job of pitch allocation — Rob is always there, making things happen behind the scenes.

These are the roles that keep the club running week in, week out.
