A&C U11s Saxons are Beaconsfield B Team Champions 2015 for the second year in a row.

The A&C Saxons began their defence of the Beaconsfield B Title with an comfortable win over Ealing 7 – 1, before coming out 4 – 0 winners over Henley in a match that was closer than the score appears. Next came the hosts Beaconsfield which in a titanic battle that was still 0-0 going into the final play, when Joe Harding got himself on the end of a sequence of driving runs and off-loads to score the winner on the last whistle. Marlow were next and were beaten comfortably 6 – 1 resulting in a final match with an unbeaten Windsor side. A&C found themselves 0 – 1 down after a closely contested first half but the game changed with an opportunistic try by Matthew Warren, which unlocked the Windsor defence, this changed the momentum in A&Cs favour with high intensity tackles from Tristan Van De Weg, Jack Fisher and Serge Fox causing chaos in Windsor’s possession and opening the door for 3 late tries to make a tight game look comfortable.

Top try scorer for the Saxons was Jack Fisher with 7, supported by Joshua Fisher and Luke Gibson 3, Joe Harding, James Thomas, Matthew Warren and Tristan van de Weg all with 2 and Serge Fox 1 a piece. Special mention to Henry Fraser and Sam Edwards for great work in contact with Joshua Hooles and Raphael Baker contributing good link play.

Congratulations to all the boys who represented A&C today but on this occasion glory goes to the all conquering Saxons.
