As you head off to your finals this weekend, I want to wish every one of you the very best of luck. Finals Day is one of the greatest experiences rugby has to offer — the teamwork, the memories, the fun, and yes, some of the best rugby you’ll play all season.

While you’re at Milton Keynes on Sunday, remember that you’re not only players; you are ambassadors of Amersham & Chiltern RFC. Every interaction, every moment is a chance to show what our club stands for.

Go that extra mile to demonstrate the true values of rugby:

Teamwork
Respect
Enjoyment
Discipline
Sportsmanship

Whatever the score in your final, seek out the referee, seek out your opposite number and thank them for a great game.

Wear your colours with pride and be a credit to your club. Show others what it means to be part of A&C — not just through how you play, but through how you behave, how you support one another, and how you represent the badge.

And to our parents and coaches: thank you for everything you do. Please continue to model these same principles throughout the finals. Your example shapes the environment our young players grow in.

Have an incredible day. I will see you there, and hopefully back in the clubhouse later on Sunday afternoon with the trophies.

Play hard, enjoy every moment, and make memories that will stay with you for years.
