Despite the warnings of heavy rain, flooding and freezing temperatures, Sunday morning dawned warm’ish and dry. Windsor were joining us for joint training and there was an atmosphere of relaxed nervousness amongst the A&C coaching team as they mentally rehearsed their drills. The warm-up and ruckley tag went well, a quick drinks break and then 4 skill stations.

Neil, Ben, Dave and Graeme all worked alongside a Windsor coach, on passing drills (Ben and Graeme), stuck in the mud (Neil) and chaos, yes CHAOS (Dave). The kids did brilliantly, a lot going on, some excellent listening, understanding and execution. They then put it all into practise with a match at the end. Good solid session followed by a quick chat on respect, then off to the clubhouse for hotdogs.
