Well done to all the children and parents who made it on Sunday. It was another one of those character building sessions where the elements played a bigger part in proceedings that we would have liked. I understand that this is sometimes referred to as "type 2 fun", i.e. only identifiable on reflection! We really appreciated Matt Allen's involvement and it was great to see the fantastic way he interacts with the children. We're hoping that we can learn from this from a coaching perspective as much as the kids do from a rugby perspective. Anyway, our brave souls of the week were Sam Elms, Thomas Taylor & Rory Suleyman. Hats off to you and all of the hardy bunch that defied the weather!

I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing our squad the best of luck at our first tournament next Sunday at Beaconsfield. We hope the players will all try their best and respect the opposition and officials.

There will be no U7 training at home on 30 September 2018 although you will be welcome to join in with the U8 session being run by Steve Lewis on the next pitch down from our usual patch.
