Mark 18th Mar 2008 1:25 PM	The rain had eased slightly for the U16s who are sponsored by Clarks of Amersham, an encounter with Bletchley in which Chiltern triumphed. The match was paused in the second half to allow treatment to a Bletchley player with a broken leg - all at A&C wish the player a rapid recovery. The match was very close with Bletchley missing an early opportunity to score through a penalty kick at goal. Amersham were able to hold the ball in the Bletchley 22m for much of the first half but only gained a 7 point advantage in the last seconds of the half when all eight forwards drove into the dead ball area for a try. Turning round and playing with the wind Amersham managed to add 3 points but conceded a deserved try to Bletchley in the last 2 minuets of the match, the conversion kick was blown wide by the gusting wind and Amersham won, 10-5 , in a hard fought encounter that was played in very poor conditions As always we thank the Ref from Bucks Ref Soc & the RFU with out whom the boys would not play
Mark 20th Mar 2008 8:05 AM	The injury is torn ligaments/tendons and not a broken ankle that was first feared The player can’t put weight on the ankle and has been told to rest the ankle for a week. At this stage it is hoped the injury will heal its self within 4 to 6 weeks. Let's all hope he back as soon as posible
