Could the Senior Players who are Training or Playing on Saturday please note that there will be Under 18s in the Changing rooms too - you may be insensitive to the issues around Junior Rugby and Child Protection - if so could you please accept the following guidance

The first team have called a mandatory training session at 10.30, the 1s will use their normal room, and showers and be out of the way for the 2s, and not be in the way of juniors

The Second Team have a match at 2.30 - if they use Changing Room 1 after the First the team - and their Visitors use Room 2

That way all adults are out of the way of the kids and vice vise

All the club`s shirts etc are in the changing room next to the 1st XV changing room.
If oppo are put in there, for security purposes our kit should be put in physio room or the gym.

I'm sure that the 2s will understand that their promotion push can't be allowed to get in the way of the juniors, especially not on a Saturday afternoon. Are these really the club's priorities?

Dome - I don't get the point ......The seconds are playing a friendly - Easter Saturday is not a league date - The match will be played with a Society ref on the first team pitch - the second team squad get to use the first team changing room - and the visitors need to change away from young players

It's nice to see the high standards of hospitality for touring sides and support for player development for the sides of the future are maintained by all parts of the club........or do you just want the whole club house for the second team only ??

My point is that I can see no need for any of this disruption. There will be four teams there on Saturday and there are already four vacant changing rooms. Each team can change in its own room in complete privacy. There's nothing in the RFU guidelines that says we need to do any more. After all, boys can play in an adult team at sixteen.

In terms of hospitality, the seconds will also be entertaining another team and a society referee. We'll be asking thirty grown men to share two loos and a small shower room so that two sets of kids can have the run of the rest of the facilities. Oh, and would you mind playing on one of the little pitches? b#%%&#$s.

As it happens the seconds game has been called off - so we will not need all of this

In fact there would have been seven sides using the facilities and the RFU does have guidelines that apply to any child under 18

The Post was intented to be helpful to all members of the club using the club house

Dome, you are out of order on this issue. The club is for ALL ages and Mark was simply trying to follow guidelines and sholdn't be castigated for doing so.

It was a good job the juniors turned out today, or it would have been an empty clubhouse on saturday, as the senior section had both their games cancelled!

Both the u14s and u16s scored impressive victories over the Dutch visitors from Gouda, another friendship formed with an overseas club, well done to all involved.
