Are you playing Hartbury or HartPury College? Similar name but not the same team... Hartpury College won the BUSA championship last year - i hope its not them you are playing against as they might be quite handy if they decide to put their full side out?!!

I will watch the result with interest.

Good luck!

Boys, good luck at the weekend, they are beatable if you start well and get a few early scores. Going to Bristol means i play against these boys that study rugby, play rugby and even eat rugby!

According to the RFU Website, it is indeed Hartpury College.

It has always been Hartpury College!

It will be a good test on thursday to see how we are getting on.

With home advantage, positive vocal support and a good start we stand a good chance of pulling off a result.

See you all there...

Indeed home advantage will be helpful. As pottsy and spiko said they do have a very strong side hosting 6 capped internationals, thats in their full squad. But i doubt they will be playing. I hope to be their just depends on how the leg feels. All the best lads! Wowzer!

$uck me boys?! What were you doing?! Did you forget your boots? Or forget that you are actually supposed to tackle in Rugby?!

I'm not blaming anyone but frankly that is an embarrassing scoreline... Lucky they missed a few kicks or didn't score one more try as 100 would have been even harder to take.

All that previous talk about whether you should buy any players or not... I'd be getting the cheque book out and buying a few players and doing it quickly! The league matches are running out.

Good luck boys!

Hopefully you'll have a good week at training....

I have to say that their 13 and 11 were absolute class - if anyone knows their names i suggest we keep a note of them cos they had everything.

Yes we were thumped - we held our own in the tight 5 and when we did keep hold of the ball and not kick to 13 & 11 we did ok.

Whilst the final score yesterday was disappointing I think a few positives can be taken from the game. The superb Chiltern try in the second half was as good a passage of play as I have seen all season and it was great to see the positive attitude throughout.
I was interested to see from the opposition what can be achieved by a team that is not the biggest physically but do the basics brilliantly, creating continual (2-3 man) overlaps simply with straight running, changing the point of attack quickly, and crucially, very high fitness levels that provided huge numbers in support at all times.
