The Colts won their opening OBB DIV 1 league game against Witney with a superb powerful performance that saw them score 7 tries to 3. A slow start led to Witney getting an early try but this galvonised our big pack into dominating the rest of the game. Some of our tackling was ferocious and that unsettled a talented Witney back line who still manufactured a couple of good late tries. Our backs combined well but it was the strong running of the likes of Smith, Ripper, Cottrell and Craggs in the forwards that really impressed.
This performance follows a good 57 - 34 win over Tring in last week's friendly and is an excellent start of the season.

Division 1:



Wins for Amersham & Chiltern, Redingensians and Newbury make them 1st, 2ns & 3rd, A&C also gained a 4+ try bonus point. Windsor are 4th with a losing bonus point from their game v Newbury. Reading Abbey then Witney are 5th and 6th.
