Chiltern started their BBO premier stay with a 51-3 win at Abingdon. 4 tries from fly half Rob Smalley and tries from Lewis Culverhouse, debutant James Cope and Dan kinsey secured an opening victory. The score could have been more had chilts been less enthusiastic at the breakdown and given away less penalties in the process (and also had Kinsey not hit the post twice with conversions.....and maybe if colm gilhooly had chipped in with a try). Whenever chiltern got the ball wide they looked dangerous, and superior fitness led to Chilts running away with the game in the second half. Despite a resounding victory, chiltern can and will improve from this performance and look forward to another away encounter next weekend at Harwell.

Fantastic results Guys,

Watched the 3rds who were impressive as always. Delighted with the 1st and Saxon's results but not surprised as both teams looked very sharp at training on Thursdays (more reason to keep the numbers up and to keep the professional attitude and application).

By the number of tries scored especially from the backs...I had better make sure I don't rush back and ruin the running rugby!
