Sponsor A&C RFC
I continue to manage Sponsorship at the Club and we are always delighted to welcome new sponsors. We do rely on Sponsorship and generous donations to help us to run and maintain the club for our Members and all those visiting the Club. With the recent improvements at the Club eg car park, new carpet and redecoration inside we have seen an increase in clubhouse bookings. The hoardings and banners at club promote all our sponsors to anyone who visits the clubhouse and do get noticed at the many events we have at the club. Wakes, weddings parties, fixtures etc.

If you would be interested in a hoarding, advert in the programme or Mini Tournament programme, or indeed booking a table at a home game - I would be delighted to hear from you. We always are delighted to welcome new sponsors to the club.

The club has had a strong season with the 1st XV remaining in the London North 1 league in a strong position. Our Minis and Juniors too have had a great season winning a number of tournaments and local fixtures - the grand finale being the U14 U15 and U16 all won their Bucks Cup Finals!

All sponsors have a link on our website, their logo appears on banners in the clubhouse and we will be emailing all our members promoting our sponsors to them and asking our members to consider using our sponsors. We have an annual sponsors lunch which is our way of thanking our sponsors. Many thanks for all your support of the club as a Member - but if you are in a position to be a sponsor - I would be delighted to hear from you.

We have made some positive improvements at the club and have more planned. We are looking forward to a great season ahead! If you would like any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Comedy Night - Friday 12th October 2018
Back by popular demand - we are holding another evening of Comedy on Friday 12th October at the club 7.30pm. Steve Williams is again organising a line up of wonderful comedians to make you laugh and Derek will be creating his delicious curry supper. Tickets are £25 a head to include 6 comedians and your food. Please note this is for over 18s only. Tables are limited so BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. Tables are for 8/10 people. Contact me to book your table early.

All the best,
Liz Bradshaw (07798 620190 / liznharry@btinternet.com)

A&C Vets Day - this Sat 8th Sept
We are delighted that not only are Vets and mini/junior Dads signing up for this Saturday touch rugby - but also some MUMS! Fantastic. We should, of course, have extended the welcome to everyone in the first place.

We could do with a few more players, so please email Peter Williams to let us know you’re playing touch rugby and/or lunch.

10:30am TOUCH RUGBY - meet in changing rooms when we select teams; shirts provided but bring your own shorts, socks, boots; kick-off about 11am, 20-30 mins each way

1pm SUPPORTERS LUNCH - adjourn to the Clubhouse for splendid sustenance and company; barrel of beer for PLAYERS ONLY in Grayburn Lounge, courtesy of Ross Thomson 60th

3pm A&C 1XV v Old Haberdashers - watch this season’s exciting First XV

Kind regards,
Peter Williams (01494 721314 / p.williams@robsonsweb.com)

Minis 2nd Hand Kit Sale - Sun 16th Sept 2018
Parents please bring along old kit. Each age group runs their own stall for their parents to sell their old kit. Normal practice is 50% sales value goes to the age group selling the kit and 50% sales value goes to the seller. It’s up to each team to decide what price goes on each item but probably no more than half of its cost new. It’s not unusual for parents to donate their old kit so the 100% sale value goes to the age group. All donated stock should be marked up with the owner and age group to aid stock records.

Stalls run from 09:15 - 11:15. Each age group will need to provide enough cover to run their own stalls, provide their own float etc. and help set up in the morning and clear away before 11:30

The new lit club shop will be open at the same time
Thanks everyone!

Chairman of Mini's Rugby
