It was sponsored by BMW and held at Nottingham University. It centred around a two hour skills session conducted by RFU coaches in the morning for about 100 U16 boys, which was extremely well organised and the boys learned a lot.

A nice lunch followed to which parents were also invited, and then a 30 minute panel session with Stuart Lancaster, Graham Rowntree and Mike Catt, hosted by Ben Kaye. A fantastic opportunity to hear England’s plans leading up to the 2015 Rugby World Cup as well as answering any questions from the boys - the discussions were very open and honest.

In the afternoon, the boys were given rugby shirts and played tag games with Messrs. Lancaster, Rowntree, Catt and Kaye coaching them at various stages; Catt and Kaye could not resist the opportunity to play.

A wonderful day and an experience the boys will not forget.
