Amersham & Chiltern u15B's 15 - 39 Hertford

Our first outing for 2012 against a very strong Hertford side. We started the game on the front foot and were rewarded with two early tries. We then seemed to lose our intensity and gave the initiative back to Hertford who were quicker and more committed at the breakdown. We found it difficult to gain any momentum and were now on the back foot for large periods of the game. A&C, as always, never gave up the fight but Hertford ran in some good tries, due in most part to a very strong and speedy outside centre. A spirited display by our boys, which will stand them in good stead for next weeks match against Milton Keynes.
